Paris Hosts Multiple Fun Runs and Charity Walks This Month
Paris hosts multiple group runs and walks this month along the Seine and in the Bois de Boulogne.
How we reported this

More than 4,200 participants have already registered for the July 18 charity walk starting at Pont Neuf and following the right bank path to the Jardin des Plantes.
Summer schedules fill quickly because city health programs promote outdoor activity to ease pressure on universal healthcare services. Parisians use these events to maintain routines during longer daylight hours when many offices close earlier on Fridays.
Seine riverbank runs and Tuileries sessions
The Paris Running Collective organises a free 5-kilometre fun run every Thursday evening at 7pm along the Seine from Quai de la Tournelle to Pont Alexandre III. Runners meet at the base of the statue of Henri IV on the Île de la Cité. The group also lists a paid option at 12 euros that includes a timing chip and post-run recovery drink at a nearby café on Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville.
Outdoor yoga classes return to the Tuileries Garden every Saturday morning at 9am near the central fountain. The sessions, run by the city’s sports department, cost 8 euros per class or 45 euros for a six-week pass. Participants bring their own mats and gather on the gravel paths east of the Jeu de Paume museum.
Bois de Boulogne cycling and charity events
The Bois de Boulogne hosts two charity cycling rides on July 25 and August 1. Both start at the Porte Dauphine entrance and cover 25 kilometres of marked paths through the park. Registration costs 15 euros, with proceeds going to a local heart-health foundation. Last year’s edition drew 1,850 riders and raised 27,000 euros.
Event organisers publish start times and updated routes on the Paris city website each Monday. Residents are advised to check weather alerts and consult a local medical professional before joining any new activity.
